July Charity Food Fair

Saturday, 21st July 2007 the association held a charity food fair in hopes of rising funds to paint the Kuala Belait Psychiatric clinic. The sale started from 12pm up to 1.30pm. From the mentioned event the association managed to collect $450.

To that the association would like to extend their thanks to all PTEB faculty members, teachers and students for their kind contributions.

November 2006

9th to 30th November – Collection period: collect of unwanted items from the PTEB community and stored in room AG.3.
20th November – 1st Food Fair (during lunch period) – raised $565.60.
22nd November – Meeting held by committee members with committee members in regards of collecting and organising charity side items.
25th November – 2nd Food Fair (during lunch period) – raised $509.30.

Merging with Environmental Club to raise money to buy trees.
Organizing attachments for students during school holidays at RIPAS Hospital.
Watching videos regarding voluntary cause.

The accomplishments in 2006

The first PTEB Charity Food Fair was conducted on 20th November. It went great and we unexpectedly managed to raise a large amount of fund. The second Food Fair was held on 25th November. Albeit the bad weather, it was a great success.

In order to conduct the PTEB Charity Sale to raise more funds, goods were collected from the PTEB communities for PTEB Charity Sale. This is to not only, raise more funds to purchase the painting accessories, but also, to donate some of the goods to the Medical Social Worker to give to the needy.

The committees and volunteers were involved in repainting the Children’s’ X-ray Rooms 1 & 2. It started early in December and continues to the month of January. This is to make the rooms more cheerful and making the children to feel more welcomed. We not only painted the two X-Ray rooms, we were also requested to paint another room in Accident and Emergency. We finished painting the three rooms by late January.

Another accomplishment was the success of the PTEB Charity Sale, which was held on 17th December 2006. The response we get from the public was overwhelming that we managed to pick up another large sum of money.
